I had a fantastic stay at the Tourist House Duomo in Florence. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk from both the train station and the Duomo, making it easy to explore the city. The room was impressively spacious, with high ceilings that kept it cool even in the summer heat. The staff, especially Mario, were friendly and helpful, ensuring I had a pleasant experience. However, the lack of breakfast options and some minor issues with the safe in my room were slight drawbacks.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Mario who was helpful with local tips. However, I did face a minor issue with the safe not working.
Location

The proximity to the Duomo was very nice, making it easy to access key sites. It was also close to restaurants and shops, enhancing my stay.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast wasn't provided, but there were plenty of local cafes nearby with excellent options. I enjoyed exploring local dining rather than having it included.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had good basic facilities, including air conditioning and daily cleaning. However, a kettle was provided but no coffee or tea, which would have been a nice touch.

My stay at Tourist House Duomo had its ups and downs. On one hand, the location was unbeatable, just a stone's throw from the Duomo and all the major attractions, making it perfect for sightseeing. However, I faced some hiccups with the check-in process and the management's communication wasn't great. Overall, while the room was decent and clean, the experience left something to be desired.

Rooms
7.0
The room I had was spacious, clean, and very quiet. It exceeded my expectations for a budget stay, with tall ceilings that made it feel even bigger.
Service
5.0
I found the management to be pretty unresponsive, which made things a little frustrating at times. I had to wait for someone to arrive for check-in, and communication during my stay was lacking.
Location
9.0
You can't beat the location! It's just 50 meters from the Duomo and an easy walk to major attractions like the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. Perfect for exploring Florence!
Dining
7.0
While no breakfast is served on-site, I got a voucher for a nearby café that offered great pastries and coffee. This was a nice touch, especially in such a central area.
Facilities
6.0
The place had basic amenities that suited my needs, but I noticed the attention to detail in cleanliness and tidiness was lacking sometimes. There was no one at the front desk frequently, which was inconvenient.

6.4/10

My stay at Tourist House Duomo was quite pleasant overall, thanks to its amazing location right next to the Duomo and spacious room. However, I did encounter a few issues, like minor WiFi trouble in the room and an uncomfortable bed. Despite that, the warm hospitality and convenience of exploring Florence made it worthwhile.

Rooms
7.0
The room was surprisingly spacious and had good air conditioning. It included a separate bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient, but bearable for my stay. The small outdoor area with tables was a cute perk, although it did face other windows.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Santiago at the front desk, who provided excellent local tips. However, I faced some issues with the payment methods and had to ensure my arrival time was exact since nobody stays at the reception during the day.
Location
9.0
The location was absolutely fantastic, just a short walk from the train station and even closer to numerous restaurants and the Duomo. I really enjoyed being so central to everything Florence has to offer.
Dining
8.0
I appreciated the nearby cafes for breakfast, offering good value meals. It was convenient to step out and grab something affordable and delicious to start the day.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities met my basic needs. The WiFi was available but only worked well close to the front desk, which was somewhat disappointing. Daily cleaning kept things tidy without any hidden charges for standard amenities.

7.2/10

I had a mixed experience at Tourist House Duomo. The location next to the Duomo was fantastic, making it easy to explore Florence. My room was spacious and clean, but it lacked some basic amenities and the air conditioning came with an extra fee. Additionally, the front desk wasn't staffed regularly, which made check-in and assistance a bit troublesome at times.

Rooms
6.0
The room was surprisingly spacious and clean, which I appreciated. However, the lack of electrical outlets was a bit annoying, and I had to pay extra for the remote to operate the air conditioning during the heatwave. It was worth it, but still a hassle.
Service
5.0
While I found the staff, especially Mario, to be friendly and helpful, the lack of constant front desk presence was frustrating. I had to deal with a situation where a guest buzzed at 4 A.M. because of a key issue, which was really inconvenient.
Location
9.0
The hotel's proximity to the Duomo is absolutely unbeatable. I could easily walk to various restaurants and attractions within minutes, which truly enhanced my visit to Florence.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options nearby were decent, but availability and pricing varied, which made finding a good meal a bit of a challenge. I ended up not using the breakfast options recommended at the hotel.
Facilities
5.0
I appreciated the daily cleaning service and the overall maintenance of the hotel. However, the lack of accessible payment methods and the extra fees for amenities like air conditioning weren't ideal.

My stay at Tourist House Duomo had its ups and downs. While I appreciated the hotel's prime location, just steps away from the Duomo, I faced several issues with communication and accommodations that detracted from my experience. The hotel has potential due to its spacious rooms and helpful staff, but my overall experience left much to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
The room was surprisingly large and clean, which was a pleasant surprise for a budget hotel. However, I encountered some issues with basic amenities. For instance, the safe was not working during my stay.
Service
5.0
The service was a mixed bag. While some staff members were helpful, I encountered communication difficulties and a lack of attentiveness. This was frustrating during my check-in and checkout process.
Location
9.0
The location was simply unbeatable, just a short walk to the Duomo and central attractions. Being so close made exploring the city incredibly convenient, and that was definitely the highlight of my stay.
Dining
6.0
Dining options nearby were decent, with cafes available for breakfast. However, I felt there could have been more variety, especially considering the great location.
Facilities
5.0
Basic facilities were provided, but I noticed charges for towels, which I found excessive. The equipment available, like the kettle, could have included some basic supplies like tea and coffee.
